House Details

The house is of a unique design, spread over four floors, exploiting the views of the marina, the River Shannon, Termonbarry village and countryside. A number of architectural design features create a nautical feel throughout the house.

The ground floor is a tiled open plan area with a bright spacious entrance hall and a well equipped kitchen and dining area. There is a separate cloakroom with WC and washbasin at this level.

Kitchen

The Kitchen has integrated electric appliances - electric hob with separate oven/ grill, washing machine/dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a microwave, toaster, kettle.

Six people can be seated comfortably in the dining room. There is also a breakfast bar / counter for more casual dining. The layout ensures that the cook has his / her own space but doesn’t miss out on the party.

Cooking utensils, glassware, cutlery, delph, pots and pans are of the highest standard.

Basic items i.e. tea, sugar, coffee, cooking oil, salt/pepper, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, soap powder are provided.

We also provide a welcome breakfast pack to get you started: juice, rashers and sausages, milk, butter, bread – the makings of an Irish breakfast!

The first floor is also open plan with a twenty foot high ceiling lounge, an outside balcony large enough for al fresco dining, or sneaking in a snooze in the sun when nobody is watching.

This room has to be seen to be believed. The double height floor to ceiling windows provide spectacular uninterrupted views of the marina, the Shannon and countryside beyond.

Furnished with comfortable sofas, armchairs and occasional tables, there is a colour TV with DVD player, mini Hi Fi system and a bookcase with a range of books, CDs and boardgames.

Balcony

Double doors lead out to your own private balony. Here you can start the day with breakfast overlooking the Shannon or end the day watching the sun set over a glass of wine.

Bathroom

The second floor landing is a mezzanine balcony overlooking the lounge and benefiting from the uninterrupted views of the water and landscape. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on this level.

The cosy Double Bedroom gets the morning sun and has a view of the village. The room has a double bed, built in floor to ceiling wardrobes, two bedside lockers.

Twin Bedroom

The spacious Twin Bedroom with a balcony overlooking farmland and the village, also enjoys the morning sun. There are two twin beds, with plenty of room for another bed if required, and built in floor to ceiling wardrobes and bedside lockers.

The Bathroom is family sized , with shower over bath. Towels are provided free of charge.

Bedroom

The Master Bedroom Suite is on the marina level and is an elegant oasis of calm. The spacious bedroom has a king size bed, bed side lockers, reading lamps, clock radio and seating area. The suite also has a Dressing Room and a separate Ensuite Bathroom (with shower over bath).

Marina View

French doors lead out to the Marina, the berth and your own patio area, this is a lovely spot for a relaxing read, while soaking up the sun.

There is a storage room on this level for your golfing, fishing and / or walking gear. You will also find the iron, ironing board, hoover, clothes horse here.
